Hello everyone,
I’m hoping to get some help with Apple Shortcuts. I’m using an app called “one sec” to limit my social media usage, by the help of automation shortcuts. As soon as the social media app is opened, “one sec” blocks the app for about 10 seconds and then asks if I am sure I want to open it or not. The thing is it only works when I open the app directly. Unfortunately this won’t work for me, because I don’t have social media apps installed on myy phone and I only access it through Safari instead of the app. (don’t judge!)
Ideally, I’d like to create a Shortcut that detects when I visit specific websites, like YouTube.com or Instagram.com, and triggers the same “confirm before opening” prompt as the “one sec” app. The alternative is having the prompt pop up as soon as I open safari but that is obviously not ideal because I also use safari for research not just for social media.
Is this possible with Shortcuts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
